Jive is one of Adelaide’s premier live music venues, playing host to the best local, national and international live acts. Jive’s original theatre design elements give it a huge advantage over many other performance venues. The stage stands before a sunken dance floor, so drinkers have clear sight lines from the bar level, and the mezzanine level creates a feeling of intimacy. The original design features of the venue make it an acoustic gem. SATURDAYS - Gosh! With DJ Craig
DJ Craig brings you Gosh! at Jive every Saturday night after the bands. He spins your favourite Indie and 60’s tunes, with drink specials, free foosball, movies and more. And don’t forget the first Saturday of the month is Dig, a dedicated 60’s club (with a little bit of early 70’s squeezed in there). There’s nothing like it in Adelaide. Put on your dancing shoes!
18.09.10 City Riots
City Riots are preparing for their first co-headline tour where they will tag-team headline shows with Perth indie crooners The Chemist. This tour will bring City Riots through Australias major cities until their return in early 2011 with the release of their debut albumb. Support on the nights will be by The Killgirls.
01.10.10 Calling All Cars
After spending the past year playing bridesmaid to iconic local rockers such as ACDC, Cog, The Butterfly Effect and Grinspoon, Melbournes own three piece excitement machine Calling All Cars will be donning their best suits and ties and heading out in fine style on their first national headline tour to officially launch their debut album Hold, Hold, Fire.
14.10.10 Old Man River
This September Old Man River will release his important sophomore album, Trust. Today he announces a national tour in support of the album, which was recorded across 12 months in Sydney, Tel Aviv, Mumbai and Los Angeles.
